Photo Gallery: Supercars – Mount Panorama 500 – 2021
The Repco Supercars Championship is underway for 2021! And what a place to do it – Mt Panorama, Bathurst.
I’m not going to lie to you, starting the Supercars season somewhere other than Adelaide felt weird. But after season 2020, it was just good to get back to something a little more normal.
Sure facemasks were required at certain points in time, and the crowd certainly wasn’t a Bathurst 1000 crowd or even a Bathurst 12 Hour crowd for that matter. But to get back to racing with a normal looking support card and a packed program was a great way seemed to be what everyone needed to start 2021.
Really looking forward to seeing the crowds build back over the course of this year, as they are allowed, so we can get those electric atmospheres back at race tracks.
The only downside of starting the season at Mt Panorama, with the three day schedule, was trying to do the track justice photographically for all of our customers. Especially after the Friday mornings practice sessions were fogged out. On the flip side of that, our customers in the Dunlop Super2/3 Series and the Toyota Gazoo Racing Series will be back in October so we’ll get to freshen up their photo galleries for the year then.
Here’s a small sampling of Rhys’s photos from the Supercars opener at Mt Panorama. As always, please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss photo package options or any other ways we can help you with media and sponsorship for this motorsport season.
