Photo Gallery: Supercars Newcastle 500 2019

by Dec 13, 2019

Just like that… The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship is over for another year.

After a dramatic, action-packed and possibly even scandalous season (as has been well documented). A somewhat sedate, at least from a Supercars point of view, Newcastle 500 was probably just what was needed as everyone’s attention started to shift towards next years championship.

The end of the motorsport season is always bittersweet, but this year particularly so. We bid a fond farewell to Garry Rogers Motorsport and the Nissan Altima which both took to the Supercars grid for the last time. While with so many drivers and other team personnel on the move in 2020, this year’s “end of the school year vibe” felt a lot more like a graduation celebration.

That said, it wasn’t just Supercars in action in Newcastle and I want to make a special mention of InSyde Media customer Aaron Borg who won the Toyota 86 Racing Series.

As you may have been able to tell, we’re really proud of our customer’s achievements and capturing those moments for them throughout the year. It has been great to see some many of our customers, not only win titles, but also races, or even just set personal bests throughout the year. It’s been fantastic to alongside them for that journey and I’m really looking forward to seeing where they progress to in 2020.

Feel free to scroll through a small selection of my favourite photos from the final Supercars round for 2019 on the streets of Newcastle below. And as always if you are looking for photos from this event or anything else to help you prepare for the 2020 motorsport season, be sure to get in touch.
